Students of the WiSo-Faculty can participate in a study abroad semester through various exchange programme options.

Through the Study Abroad Programme (STAP), successful applicants will benefit from direct contact with partner universities and organisational support from the Center of International Relations of the WiSo-Faculty (ZIB-WiSo). Participants of the STAP programme are exempt from tuition fees at the partner university and also includes study exchanges through the ERASMUS-Programme.

Alternatively, there are university-wide cooperations organised through the International Office.

A self-organised exchange as a Freemover or participation in a summer school or a short-term programme are also further options.

Students considering study abroad options should begin planning this at the start of their studies due to application deadlines and individual study planning required. It is only possible to spend one semester abroad through the STAP-Programme.

The WiSo-Faculty has integrated Studies Abroad modules within the bachelor programmes to allow for credit transfer of modules studied abroad. Furthermore, students have the option of applying for a single course credit transfer. Further information for the requirements and regulations for credit transfers can be found here.
