Do you know about the job shadowing programme? The WiSo-Career-Service and WiSo Alumni Services offer this special programme for you.

Students of the Faculty of Management, Economics and Social Sciences can spend a day accompanying an experienced professional (mostly WiSo alumni) at their workplace. They get to find out what the job involves, learn about the career prospects, check whether their own ideas about their future career correspond to real life and establish valuable contacts. One company, one job, one day.

Our partners are OSCAR GmbH, Horbach and Nürburgring GmbH and others.

The consultation hours in the afternoon (2-4 p.m.) must be cancelled on 28 June, 2018 due to an internal information event which applies for prospective bachelor students. The WiSo Student Service offers regular opening hours in the morning and the telephone consultation hour will take place as well.

Registration for “Business English” and “English for the Social Sciences” language courses start 18.06.2019. The course is open to all WiSo faculty students but places are limited and allocated on a ‘first come, first served’ basis. 

As part of the registration, you will need to take a placement test or send us a copy of a valid English certificate to evaluate your current English language proficiency. The placement test dates will be announced on the registration page.

Bachelor students (excluding those studying Lehramt BK1) have the possibility to gain 6 ECTS within the module Studium Integrale on successful completion and passing of the course.

Du hast dich schon immer gefragt, wie eine Inhouse Beratung arbeitet? Du interessierst dich für den Telekommunikationsmarkt und die Chancen der Digitalisierung? Dann nutze die Gelegenheit, im Rahmen eines ganztägigen Workshops das Center For Strategic Projects der Deutschen Telekom in Bonn kennenzulernen. Hierbei hast du die Möglichkeit, für einen Tag in die Rolle eines Agenten zu schlüpfen und im Team einen spannenden Security Case zu lösen. Während einer Führung durch den Smart Home Showroom bekommst du einen Einblick in die Zukunft des Wohnens und die Chance, innovative Produkte und Lösungen kennenzulernen, die schon bald unser Leben vereinfachen könnten. Bei einem leckeren Essen können außerdem alle Fragen gestellt werden, die dich zur Deutschen Telekom und zum Inhouse Consulting bewegen. Außerdem hast du die Möglichkeit, die Consultants näher kennen zu lernen und erste Kontakte zu knüpfen. Die Veranstaltungssprache ist auf Deutsch.

Dann komm zu unserem Event mit Ebner Stolz, wo dir zwei Personaler des mittelständischen Prüfungsunternehmens genau das und noch vieles mehr zur Bewerbung, dem Bewerbungsprozess, ihren Anforderungen und natürlich auch Ihrem Unternehmen allgemein erzählen werden. Danach stehen die beiden auch noch für offene Fragen und Gespräche in einer kleineren Gruppe und lockeren Atmosphäre zur Verfügung.

Der Vortrag findet auf Deutsch im Philosophikum S 73 am 06. Juni 2018 von 17.45 bis 19.15 Uhr statt. Eine Anmeldung ist nicht notwendig.

The WHO as the leader in global public health issues offers internship opportunities world-wide for students interested in gaining insight in the work of the WHO. The internships are designed between six and twenty-four weeks depending on needs of the WHO and the intern’s availability.
